About the role
Here are the things that will play to your strengths:
- Reviewing and analysing user stories and creating acceptance criteria
- Evaluating new features and fixes according to specifications
- Working with BA’s and Developers to develop effective test plans
- Executing test cases (manual or automated) and analysing results
- Logging defects and helping troubleshoot problems
- Ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle
About you
You are a team player with a strong working knowledge of software testing methodologies. You are passionate about quality and great user experience. You enjoy analysing features and problem solving.
Your experience includes:
- Work experience in software development and software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Understanding of agile methodologies
- A willingness to work flexibly but in an organised manner
- The ability to work to deadlines

Salary: Up to £35,000pa - Dependent on skills and experience
