STUNT PLANES JEDI AND SEGWAYS

This time last year we were still revelling in the glory of 'best in show' for MD Tessa's FinTech Rap awarded at the PFS Festival of Finance. Tess rapped us into first place in the Fintech Cafe with her GDPR inspired Vanilla Ice rap. That was going to take a lot of beating, but 2018 has had some momentous highlights of its own ... if you missed the rap the first time around, check it out here...

The past 12 months has seen growth across all areas of the business but the stat demonstrating that adviser firms are now embracing digital technology is shown by the increase in clients from 40 firms using moneyinfo at the start of the year to more than 80 now live or in implementation.

We take our technology very seriously, but when it comes to making an impression we like to have a bit of fun. Here are some of this year's highlights:

An interview at 5,000ft
Always up for a challenge, Tess agreed to take part in an interview at 5,000 ft with director of Time4Advice Roland Rawicz-Szczerbo in his aerial stunt plane. Roland had a few tricks up his sleeve and watching them barrel-roll their way through the Oxfordshire countryside was enough to make the ground crew feel sick! Watch the full video here.

Updated Case Study Videos
We're very lucky to have some fantastic clients to work with and when we put a call out to run video interviews to produce some updated client testimonial videos we had plenty to choose from. Wes Wilkes & Amy Wilkes from Ironmarket Group in Staffordshire were first up, followed by Mark Hird & Toby Ellington from Cheshire based Equilibrium Asset Management. Watch the new case studies here:

Our Fantastic Quarterly Parties
No quarter would be complete here at moneyinfo without one of our legendary quarterly do's. 2018 saw portrait painting in Q1, Segway racing at the end of Q2, a Malaysian Cookery School and Cocktail Night at the end of Q3 (with celebrity chef Norman Musa) and our Christmas party is tomorrow so please save any enquiries until Monday when we're all back in the office! GDPR Summer Tour
July & September saw us take on a very ambitious tour of the UK with the Personal Finance Society, sponsoring 26, (yes TWENTY SIX!) events in an 8 week period. We engaged advisers from across the profession with our informative GDPR content in far-reaching corners of the UK from Bodmin to the Isle of Man.

Our favourite feedback quote from the tour, "Too much sales pitch - too few learning points. But still interested. Please contact me!" Our client portals proved too good to resist!

The Star Wars Bar
Late November saw the moneyinfo crew end the year on a high running a StarWars themed cocktail bar at the Personal Finance Society national symposium in London. Highlights included CEO Mik Cons dressed as Darth Vader asking for selfies and our very own Princess Leia telling the crowds ‘Let the forces guide you towards our portal'. You may have missed the cocktails, but there's still time to check the pictures out here.

All this leaves us to say is have a fantastic break and we hope you're as excited about 2019 as we are.
