Sammedia Smash the Wolfrun

Sunday 10th April saw an outing from the Sammedia offices on the mean streets of Henley in Arden, to the mud sodden forests of South Warwickshire. Fully kitted out in lycra and warpaint, the team were taking part in the notorious 10km WOLF RUN, pitched as one of the hardest multi-terrain obstacle races in the UK, all in the name of charity.

With generous sponsorship of over £2,100 the Sammedia team had something to prove… The sun came out, the howls from the Wolf Runners were echoing through the forest, and they were off… 3 hours of cargo nets, bog-crawling and swimming through freezing cold open water followed; unable to match the weekend record of just over 1 hour, the 13 Sammedia Warriors crossed the finish line in a not too shabby 3 hours.

After a refreshing cold shower (which at this point actually felt quite warm), CEO Mik Cons broke out the bubbly and the team celebrated their fantastic achievement in style with a glass of Prosecco and some energy bars in the carpark before retreating home for a well deserved wash.
