Cofunds licences Moneyinfo

Sammedia Ltd has been selected to power a new investor front-end portal from Cofunds. The companies have been working together for a number of months and the technology is now ready for launch. Based on Sammedia’s Moneyinfo technology, the service provides interactive reporting and a fresh approach to investor engagement.

The portal called My Money provides an end-to-end customer journey online including fully integrated trading for advisers and investors to purchase, sell or switch funds via a single sign-on process.  The service can be delivered either via Cofunds or under an IFA’s own branding.

My Money is linked to the leading back office system Adviser Office from Avelo and seamlessly pulls through off-platform assets to provide the client with a fully aggregated view of all their finances. Uniquely, there is also the option for clients to aggregate accounts not under the IFA’s direct control such as their everyday banking and credit card accounts.

Simran Sangha, director at Sammedia comments:

“Cofunds recognises the need for a new, really compelling client-portal service, one where the user experience and functionality drives greater and broader client engagement. Cofunds is leading the way in providing ground-breaking functionality that end investors will value and will increasingly come to expect. This is a significant development not least because it will help advice firm’s deliver their post RDR servicing proposition.”

Mike Free, Sammedia CEO added:

“Sammedia’s mission is to improve our industry’s engagement with the end customer. We do this by making intuitive and accessible technology that spans a customer’s entire financial life. We've found in Cofunds a partner that shares our vision and so we’re very excited about what this partnership can bring to the industry ”

Stephen Wynne-Jones, head of marketing at Cofunds added:

“Platforms have historically looked to take the hassle out of investing and this is a natural next step to extend ease of access to all assets, whether they’re held on or off platform. Making this is a great way for firms to be seen to be adding real value to their clients.”
